Frank J. Gillhaus
Westfield – Frank J. Gillhaus, 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born in Queens, NY he had lived in Queens before settling in Westfield in 1976.
He served in the US Army during the Korean War before being honorably discharged in 1952.
Frank was a graduate of Fordham University, and went to work with J.P Morgan for many years, becoming a Vice President. He then worked as a consultant with US Bank.
Frank is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia Barbara; his sons, Craig and his wife, Donna, and Ronald; his daughter-in-law, Suzanne; and his beloved grandchildren, Eric Andrew, Christopher Connor, and Carly. He is also survived by his sister, Marilyn Lynch and his brother, Phillip Gillhaus.
He was predeceased by his son, Kurt A. Gillhaus, who died in 2016.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Westfield on Friday at 10:30AM. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
